After the first round of selection and a day-long workshop on ‘Developing Grassroots Enterprises’ on September 2nd, Contact Base, with support from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIM-CIP), is all set for the final pitch presentation session on 27th September 2024 under the  “Empowering Organizations: Rural Women-Led Enterprises” program at the IIM Calcutta. The pitch presentation event is being held to identify the winners of the grant money of Rs. 4.5 Lakhs. The program is aimed at fostering collaboration and recognizing efforts of social ventures, NGOs, and organizations in developing women-led rural and semi-rural enterprises. A jury of three experts will select two organizations as winners who will further use the grant money to support women-led rural ventures directly and showcase their impact in the final event in March 2025.
