Academy for Women Entrepreneurs 4.0 Final Bootcamp
Since 2023, we have been working with over 70 women entrepreneurs from Tripura and Mizoram with the aim of accelerating their business growth. Through mentoring support, business development training, network building, and skill enhancement, we have empowered these entrepreneurs to grow and expand.
After a year-long journey, 31 women entrepreneurs were selected for the final bootcamp to present their business pitches and engage in discussions on key topics such as statutory compliance, access to finance, government schemes and facilities for women entrepreneurs in both states, digital financial inclusion, and tools like Merabills.net and ONDC. The bootcamp also included a buyer-seller networking meet to foster connections and opportunities.
Following the welcome note by Kathy Giles-Diaz, Consul General, U.S Consulate Kolkata, the day one focused on business development sessions, while on day two, the participants presented their pitches, with the top six enterprises being recognized for their impact and awarded cash prizes by the PAO and Director of American Center, Elizabeth Lee.

Prominent retailers in food processing, handloom, handicrafts, and representatives from select cafes also participated, enriching the bootcamp with their insights.
